Jetta Huttunen
Jetta Huttunen is a Senior Lecturer at Lapland University of Applied Sciences, Department of Business and Culture, where she has been working since 2005. She teaches media production and cultural production for students of media and art. She is working on her postgraduate study at the University of Jyväskylä, the Research Centre for Contemporary Culture, on the participatory culture of amateur film-makers. She has graduated from the University of Lapland, Faculty of Arts in 2006, and her thesis addressed the subject of amateur film-making in Finland. Huttunen has consulted organizations on the culture of amateur film-makers in Finland and was commissioned a report on the subject for the Finnish Film Institute in 2009. Her article ‘Amateur film-making rising towards the mainstream of cultural production’ was published by the University of Jyväskylä in 2011.
