Jiannis K. Pachos

Jiannis Pachos is a professor of theoretical physics at the University of Leeds. He obtained his B.Sc. in physics in 1993 and his Ph.D. in 1996. He worked as a postdoc at MIT, the Max Planck Institute and Cambridge University before moving to Leeds in 2006. His research relates to the geometric and topological interpretations of quantum physics. He has more than 115 research papers and he regularly gives talks and lectures to research communities, schools and the general public.
