Jill Martiniuk

Jill Martiniuk is assistant professor of teaching in the Department of Engineering Education at the University at Buffalo. Her research interests include comparative cultural studies on depictions of grief and redemption in popular culture and literature. Her current research project examines the appropriation of Slavic folklore in the western literary market. Her latest book is Wandering in Circles: Venichka’s Journey of Redemption in Moskva-Petushki (Academic Studies Press, 2021), and she has had articles published with Russian Literature, Canadian Slavonic Review and Salem Press.
