Jim Brogden

Jim Brogden is the programme leader of the MA in film, photography and media, in the School of Media and Communication at the University of Leeds. He is the author of Photography and the Non-Place: The Cultural Erasure of the City (Palgrave, 2019), and co-author with Stephen Coleman of Capturing the Mood of Democracy: The British General Election 2019 (Palgrave, 2020). He is a member of the International Visual Sociology Association, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, United Kingdom, and visiting professor at the American Academy of Art College, Chicago.
