Jinhua Li
Dr Jinhua Li is associate professor of Chinese studies and language at the University of North Carolina Asheville. Li received her doctoral degree in comparative literature from Purdue University, and her research focuses are comparative cinema studies, transnational cultural studies and gender and identity politics in East Asian cinemas. Jinhua Li has published many journal articles on East Asian cinemas and popular culture, has contributed book reviews regularly to journals on East Asian media and cultural studies and is currently working on a monograph on contemporary Chinese cinema.
