Joan Jordi Miralles

Joan Jordi Miralles is an associate professor at the Tecnocampus, Pompeu Fabra University, and is part of the Resistance Narratives research group. His research addresses contemporary and marginal film, obscenity in the media and also the cultural gesture. He has published the novels L’Altíssim (‘The most high’) (Tres i Quatre, 2005), L’úter de la balena (‘The whale’s womb’) (Moll, 2010), Una dona meravellosa (‘A marvellous woman’) (LaBreu, 2014), Aglutinació (‘Agglutination’) (Edicions 62, 2018) and Triomfador (‘Winner’) (Males Herbes, 2023). He has also published the volume of short stories La intimitat de les bèsties (‘The intimacy of beasts’) (Empúries, 2017) and Marginàlia (‘Marginalia’) (Males Herbes, 2021), as well as two plays: Això és Àustria (‘This is Austria’) (Lleonard Muntaner, 2012) and Els nens feliços (‘Happy children’) (Males Herbes, 2016).
