Joana Martins Contino
Joana Martins Contino is a professor and researcher at Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing/Higher School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM’s) Post-Graduate Program in Creative Economy, Strategy and Innovation. She obtained a Ph.D. and a master’s in design from the Graduate Program in Design at PUC-Rio. Joana is an investigator in the Design and Innovation of Creative Processes and Products research line and works at the Laboratory of Innovation, Information and Interaction of PPGECEI (LAB3i) and belongs to the editorial board of the Diálogo com a Economia Criativa Journal. With a vast experience in the fashion market, her research deals with topics such as design, fashion design, labour relations, technology, social innovation, culture and the creative economy.
