Johanna Hiitola
Johanna Hiitola (DSocSci) is senior lecturer in social work at Tampere University, Finland. She is also senior researcher in an Academy of Finland-funded research project Family Separation, Migration Status and Everyday Security: Experiences and Strategies of Vulnerable Migrants at the Migration Institute of Finland. She has conducted research on gender and race in child protection, migrant families’ welfare services, Afghan mobilities and family migration.
