John Iwuh

John Iwuh is an associate professor in theatre and film studies, Redeemer’s University, Ede, Nigeria, and the editor of RUN Journal of Cultural Studies. He was a University of Ibadan Fulbright Scholar (2005–07). Over the years, he designed and consulted for drama and festival performances under the auspices of USIS, the British Council and other cultural organizations in Nigeria. His creative works include Igbo carrier rituals, The Village Lamb (2007), Spellbound (2009) and the civil war drama, Birthright (2012), and he was a country-contributing researcher in the World Scenography vol. 2 (Organisation of Scenographers, 2014) book project. Dr Iwuh won the ANA/NDDC/JP Clark National literary prize for drama in 2008.
