John Nerone
John Nerone is professor emeritus in the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He writes on media and journalism history, and his books include Violence against the Press (Oxford, 1994) and The Media and Public Life: A History (Polity, 2015).
