Jon Mitchell
Jon Mitchell is an associate professor of American studies. He joined the School of American Studies at UEA in 2010. Jon’s research interests include US masculinity and national identity in popular culture; gender theory; queer theory; US literature and culture of the 1950s and 1960s; psychoanalytic theory (Lacan and Zizek); narrative theory (narratology and post-narratology); ‘Christian Identity’ and fundamentalism; and methodology in American studies.
