Jonathan D. Powers
Jonathan D. Powers has been groomed by Regent University through two degrees. He earned his master’s in arts degree in television and film criticism here at Regent and his Ph.D. in communication. Jonathan’s professional experience includes the use of his talents as a set builder, a props master craftsman, a television and film on-set props person, a stagehand and a Scenic Shop supervisor. He has participated in the production of television and films over the years and has contributed to the painting of large murals, graphics, prop concepts, studio mise en scène, and studio set designs and construction. Presently Dr Powers teaches in the School of Communication and the Arts at Regent University.
