Jordan Schildcrout
Jordan Schildcrout is a professor of theatre and performance at SUNY Purchase and the author of In the Long Run: A Cultural History of Broadway’s Hit Plays (Routledge, 2020) and Murder Most Queer: The Homicidal Homosexual in the American Theater (University of Michigan Press, 2014). He edited the premiere publication of the gay liberation era comedy Tubstrip by Jerry Douglas (Chelsea Station Editions, 2019) and co-edited with Jimmy A. Noriega the collection 50 Key Figures in Queer US Theatre (Routledge, 2022). He lives, works as a dramaturg and occasionally goes dancing in New York City.
