Jordi Sánchez-Navarro

Jordi Sánchez-Navarro is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences at the UOC. His research interests include social and cultural impacts of new media, citizens’ media practices, and changes in entertainment content and consumption. He is author of ‘Messenger and social network sites as tools for sociability, leisure and informal learning for Spanish young people’ (2013), ‘The fruits of my own labour: A case study on clashing models of co-creativity in the new media landscape’ (2014), ‘Up close and personal: Exploring the bonds between promoters and backers in audiovisual crowdfunded projects’ (2015) and ‘Creative crowds. Crowdsourcing as a model for collective audiovisual production in the filmmaking field’ (2017).
