Jorge Correia
Jorge Correia holds a design degree and Ph.D. in architecture from the School of Architecture at the University of Porto, Portugal. Correia is an associate professor in architectural and urban history at the School of Architecture, University of Minho. He is also deputy director of the Landscape, Heritage and Territory Lab (Lab2PT) and president of the European Architectural History Network (EAHN). His main research interests are devoted to the study of architectural and urban aspects of the European colonial sphere from the fifteenth through nineteenth centuries and the cultural challenges of heritage, as well as traditional Islamic cities and their representation.
