José Carlos Sendín
Dr. Jose Carlos SENDÍN GUTIÉRREZ PhD in Communication. Associate Professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University and BA and MA in Journalism from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. He also has a Diploma of Advanced Studies in International Relations and African Studies from the Autonoma University of Madrid. He has worked in various media and in an NGO, and co-ordinates the UNESCO Chair on Communication Research and Africa http://www.unescoafricom.es/En/. During 2012 has been a visiting professor at the University of Oxford.
He is a member of the European Cost Action IS0906 Transforming Audiences, Transforming Societies. His research interests include international communication, multiculturalism and immigration, as well as communication theory and research methods. He has published more than 20 books, book chapters and scientific articles and editorials in national and international journals.
