Joshua T. Horton

Dr Joshua T. Horton researches punk publics and publishing practices with particular focus on how marginalized communities use punk’s transgressive ethos to bypass the publishing industry’s investment in promoting the ideologies of the dominant culture. His previous publications have explored the monstrification of queer bodies through paratext and diegesis. He teaches in the English department at Arizona State University. He currently lives with his partner in Tempe, Arizona, and he desperately misses his winter wardrobe.
