Jukka Kortti is a social science historian who has made several comprehensive studies of media history and intellectual history. His recent publications include several theoretical articles on media history and historical culture in Rethinking History and Media History and the book Media in History: An Introduction to the Meanings and Transformations of Communication over Time (Macmillan Red Globe Press, 2019).
