Julia Neugarten
Julia Neugarten is a Ph.D. candidate in arts and culture studies at Radboud University, Nijmegen. She has an MA in literary studies from the University of Amsterdam. Julia’s research interests include fanfiction, fan communities and literary reception. Her dissertation, which is part of the project Anchoring Innovation, examines how Greek myth is transformed in contemporary online fanfiction. She combines methods from cultural studies, literary studies and the digital humanities in her work.
