Julian Barr

Julian Barr (he/him) is a full-time faculty in interdisciplinary social sciences at South Seattle College in Seattle, Washington. He primarily teaches geography, American ethnic studies and gender studies. He is ABD in geography studying the historical geographies of lesbian and queer women in Seattle from 1930 to 1970 at the UW and does public scholarship work about the queer history of Pioneer Square, which includes a walking tour. Julian has been published on the representations of masculinity in popular culture.
