Julie K. Hagen

Julie K. Hagen is an assistant professor of choral music education at The University of Hartford’s The Hartt School, CT, where she teaches the choral methods sequence and undergraduate conducting. Dr Hagen’s research is focused on social justice and gender roles in music education, and she has presented her research at a variety of national and international conferences, including the Society for Music Teacher Education (SMTE) Biennial Symposium, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) National Conference, and the European Association for Music in Schools (EAS) Annual Conference in Malmö, Sweden.
