Julie McLaughlin

Juliana McLaughlin is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice at the Queensland University of Technology where she lectures in Indigenous knowledges and Indigenous studies, education, decolonizing research methodologies, ethics and protocols for community engagement. Her research and publications are informed by postcolonial and critical race theories and driven by her passion for Indigenous wisdom and social justice, development education and decolonizing curricula and pedagogy. She is past president of the Oceania Comparative and International Education Society. Julie is from Manus Island, Papua New Guinea.
