Julie Timte
Julie Timte is a Ph.D. student at Rice University in Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history and Plan II Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on exchange between the Islamicate world and Europe in the early modern period, particularly in the Italian peninsula. She was recently a project assistant in the Art of the Islamic Worlds Department at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where she contributed to a forthcoming publication on Persian ceramics in the Hossein Afshar Collection.
