Juliette Bellacosa

Juliette Bellacosa is a Ph.D. candidate in Italian studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she teaches Italian language at the undergraduate level. Juliette’s dissertation centres on contemporary adaptations of Italian Renaissance masterworks, more specifically in the area of digital installations. Her academic interests include Renaissance art, cinema and media studies, visual studies and adaptation studies. Along with her doctorate in Italian studies, she is in the process of completing a Cinema and Media Studies Certificate at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the co-editor of the peer-reviewed journal Bibliotheca Dantesca.
