Kaelen Wilson-Goldie

Kaelen Wilson-Goldie is a writer and critic based in New York City and Beirut and a Ph.D. student in art history and criticism at Stony Brook University. In Fall 2022, she was practitioner-in-residence at New York University’s Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Easter Studies. She is a regular contributor to Artforum, Aperture and Afterall, and the author of two books: Etel Adnan (Lund Humphries, 2018), on the paintings of the Lebanese-American poet Etel Adnan, and Beautiful, Gruesome, and True: Artists at Work in the Face of War (Columbia Global Reports, 2022), about the work of Amar Kanwar, Teresa Margolles and Abounaddara.
