Kaifia Ancer Laskar
Dr Kaifia Ancer Laskar is an assistant professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Aliah University, Kolkata, West Bengal. She is interested in studying discourses of gender and myth in television and media text. In the earlier part of her career she worked for status evaluation projects for non-government organizations in Assam, India. She has also rendered her services as a media expert in one of the districts of North Eastern State, Assam under National Health Mission, a Government of India programme for health advocacy and development. She has also published articles on issues pertaining to her research interest in various international and national publications.
