Kaisa J. Raatikainen works as a senior research scientist in the Finnish Environment Institute. She led the Sacred Place? art and science project as part of her postdoctoral work in the Department of Biological and Environmental Science and School of Resource Wisdom at the University of Jyväskylä. Her research interests include human–nature interactions from landscape management to synergies and conflicts between conservation and sustainability.
