Kamil Luczaj
Kamil Luczaj is a sociologist specializing in migration studies and the sociology of higher education. He earned his Ph.D. from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and currently serves as an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Łódź, Poland. His research expertise includes qualitative interviewing and ethnographic research. Dr Luczaj has led several research projects focused on academic migration and the academic profession. He has been a visiting academic colleague at the University of New Mexico (2013–14), a research fellow at the Slovak Academy of Sciences (2018, Institute of Sociology), a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge (2020–21, Faculty of Education) and a research associate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2022, Russian, East European and Eurasian Center).
