Karen Berger
Karen Berger prioritizes an ethics of care in her work as a researcher, teacher, director and performer. She is currently working as a volunteer with the Moresby Arts Theatre, Papua New Guinea, with a focus on engaging young people. A report she co-authored on community truth-telling initiatives will be released in September 2023. She has authored five journal articles and three book chapters. Her master’s and doctoral degrees investigated the use of performance to interrogate postcolonialism. She is experienced at working with a wide variety of community groups and is a qualified forest therapy guide.
