Karen Tobias-Green

Karen Tobias-Green is senior lecturer in language development and MA tutor in research methods at Leeds Arts University, the North of England’s only specialist arts university. She is a doctoral student of education and published fiction writer and is currently putting together a creative writing undergraduate degree for her University. She uses post-humanist thinking and narrative inquiry to question paradigms of and relationships between, knowing, being and making in the art institution. Her research has led her to design and facilitate a series of workshops for students and staff, which reposition writing and making in ways that are tactile, embodied and critically aware. Karen regularly writes for Corridor 8, an established online arts journal.
