Karen Torley
Karen Torley is the director and co-founder of Banyan Theatre, a touring puppet company established in Norwich in 1993. Karen has worked as a theatre-maker and puppeteer for over 30 years, creating and touring shows both nationally and internationally. She has been involved as a director, designer, maker and performer with many companies including Norwich Puppet Theatre, The Little Angel, London Leicester Haymarket, AnNua Productions and The Earagail Arts Festival. Relocating to Derry, Northern Ireland in 1998, Karen also works as a puppetry and object theatre specialist/adviser working in health care and further education.
