Kashifa Aslam
Kashifa Aslam has recently completed her PhD in the programme of Media & Communication at RMIT University. Her research explored Islamophobia in Australian media. The research assessed how acts of violence infringe on human rights. Digital ethnography and lived experiences of being Muslim offered ways to engage with complex interactions on social media. The findings enhance our understandings of support networks for Muslim women and their supporters.
