Kate Brombley
Kate Brombley holds her Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom. Her thesis project funded by AHRC and Portsmouth City Council was entitled ‘Possessions and obsessions: Fandom and the case of Arthur Conan Doyle’, which detailed the emergence of the British-based Sherlock Holmes fandom from 1891 to 1938. Kate worked extensively with the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection, Richard Lancelyn Green Bequest. Kate has also published articles in Transformative Works and Culture and Critical Quarterly and is currently an editorial assistant for Victoriographies.
