Kate Godfrey
Kate Godfrey is Head of Voice, Text and Actors’ Support at The Royal Shakespeare Company. She trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, was a member of the voice faculty at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for twenty years and an associate of the National Theatre’s voice department since 2001. She has worked on numerous productions in London’s West End, and with rep companies such as Chichester Festival Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange and Sheffield Crucible. She has also coached Japanese actors and directors in Kyoto and Osaka, and has worked as dialect coach on Callas Forever.
