Kate North
Kate North is a reader in creative writing at the Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy, Cardiff Metropolitan University and leads The Creative Writing, Community Health, and Wellbeing Research Group. Kate writes poetry and fiction, and her particular interests are in the applications of writing practice in health and community contexts and creative writing as a research method. Kate’s recent publications include The Way Out (Parthian, 2018) and Creating Community Beyond Covid Project Evaluation (Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, 2022). Kate is the principal editor of Writing in Practice, a fellow of the Royal Academy of Arts and a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
