Katerina Flint-Nicol
Katerina Flint-Nicol joined the School of Film & Television at Falmouth University in 2023 as a lecturer after spending three years teaching film at Queen’s University Belfast. She completed a Ph.D. in film studies in 2019 at the University of Kent. Kat’s thesis, ‘Men, manors, monsters: The Hoodie Horror and the Cinema of Alterity’, has formed her research interests in the transmedia discourse of class identity and class-based production cultures in British cinema. She is co-editor of The Cinematic Space(s) of the Working-Class due for publication later in 2024 by EUP.
