Katherine Vaughn is a dual Masters in Public Policy/M.B.A. candidate at the School of Public Policy and the R. H. Smith School of Business, respectively, at the University of Maryland College Park. Vaughn has co-authored a series of articles with Sahar Khamis on social media use and public mobilization in the Arab uprisings.
