Katy Dymoke

Katy Dymoke is a dancer, dance film maker, director of Touchdown Dance, and director of the UK Body-Mind Centering® (BMC®) programme (Embody Move). As a Dance Movement Psychotherapist (DMP) Katy works in health and education contexts, supervision and private practice. With over twenty years’ experience in learning disability (child and adult), and other settings Katy delivers workshops, lectures and research specialising in touch. As an academic and author Katy is completing a Ph.D. by publication, she has published a book on The Impact of Touch in Dance Movement Psychotherapy: A Body-Mind Centering Approach, and another on the story of Touchdown Dance on the use of Contact Improvisation non-visual methods with visually impaired and sighted people.
