Kiera Lindsey
Kiera Lindsey is a senior research fellow conducting an ARC DECRA on speculative biography and historical craft. She has published national and international academic book chapters and journal articles on nineteenthcentury history, historical craft and biography. In 2016 she published her first speculative biography, The Convict’s Daughter, with Allen & Unwin which has been described as a ‘blazing a trail between history and fiction’. She is currently working on her second speculative biography about the colonial artist, Adelaide Ironside, which will be published with Allen & Unwin and a co-edited book with Routledge on Speculative Biography. In addition to over fifteen years of university curriculum development and delivery across in-class, online and blended platforms, Lindsey has presented masterclasses nationally and internationally, co-hosted the 2ser GLAM CITY podcast, been a regular guest on ABC Radio National, a consultant and on-camera historian on Foxtel, ABC and SBS and is a currently an executive member of the History Council of New South Wales.
