Kierran Argent Horner

Kierran Argent Horner’s forthcoming monograph, Haunting the Left Bank, investigates ethical representations of death in films by Agnès Varda, Chris Marker and Alain Resnais through existential and phenomenological theories of intersubjectivity, gender and mortality. He has published in L’Esprit createur, Film Philosophy, Studies in French Cinema, Mise au Point and other journals on feminist-philosophical approaches to death, intersubjectivity and identity hierarchies, engaging with topics as diverse as pregnancy, Pop Art and gender.
