Kimberly Ball

Kimberly Ball is a continuing lecturer in the Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies at UCLA, new home of the former Scandinavian Section. Her research ranges from folklore to medieval literature to film. She has published in the journals Cultural Analysis: An Interdisciplinary Forum on Folklore and Popular Culture, Fabula: Zeitschrift für Erzählforschung and Western Folklore, and written chapters for Writing Down the Myths: The Construction of Mythology in Classical and Medieval Traditions (Brepols, 2013) and Comparing Dragons: Ancient, Medieval, and Modern (Brepols, forthcoming).
