Kirsten Bussière

Kirsten Bussière is a doctoral candidate and part-time professor in the Department of English at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English and a Master of Arts in English and digital humanities from Carleton University. Her most recent scholarly publications include ‘Digital humanity: Collaborative capital resistance in Doctorow’s Walkaway’ in Vector: Future Economies, ‘Feminist future: time travel in Marge Piercy’s Woman on the Edge of Time’ in MOSF Journal of Science Fiction and ‘Beginning at the end: Indigenous survivance in Moon of the Crusted Snow’ in Foundation. Her current research, which is funded by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada, examines representations of space, time and memory in contemporary post-apocalyptic fiction.
