Klara Björk
Klara Björk is a lecturer at Valand Academy and currently also working as head of the film department. Klara’s interest lies within the field of cultivation and politics and how the camera as a tool can be the used as a way of ’consciousness raising’ in the literacy facing our time – image literacy. Klara is also active as a producer and partner in the production company Filmkreatörerna, established 1996. The filmography as producer consists of features, documentaries and installations with both national and international distribution. She was a member of the board at the director’s association 2003–04 and in the first board of Swedish WIFT (Women in Film and Televis ion) when it started up in Sweden 2004. She is educated at EAVE (European Audio Visuell Entrepreneur) and at Filmhögskolan at Gothenburg University.
