Klisala Harrison
Klisala Harrison is the Academy of Finland Research Scholar in Ethnomusicology at the University of Helsinki. She has extensive research experience in the area of music, health and well-being of culturally specific groups including Indigenous peoples across the Arctic and asylum seekers/refugees. She has published foundational works on applied ethnomusicology theory and method. Her articles and books, appearing in English and Mandarin, also address musical practices vis-à-vis equity issues of health, urban povertyand human rights.
