Kristi Tredway

Kristi Tredway is a feminist cultural theorist of sport whose work centres on intersectionality, cultural understandings of bodies, social activism and women’s professional sports, especially women’s tennis. Her book, Social Activism in Women’s Tennis: Generations of Politics and Cultural Change, is forthcoming from Routledge. She is currently a visiting assistant professor at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, United States, where she has taught in the Department of Sociology, Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies Program, the African and African Diaspora Studies Program, the DeSousa-Brent Scholars Program and the CORE Curriculum.
