Kylie Baker is a double major in Studio Art and Film Studies. She won the Best Overall Story of spring 2018 in the Cape Fear Community Portals literary magazine. She writes often for a hobby and mostly enjoys fictional works aimed at family audiences. She also is a cartoonist and digital artist who wants to work in animation as a character designer or writer. She loves dogs, hibachi fried rice, old cartoons, swing music, and going to the beach. She has lived in Wilmington since 2003 and will hopefully graduate from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in fall 2021.
