Kyra Hunting
Kyra Hunting is an associate professor of media arts and studies at the University of Kentucky. Her work on entertainment media, gender and fandom has appeared in a wide range of journals and edited anthologies including The Journal of Popular Communication, Annals of ICA, Feminist Media Studies, Critical Studies in Media Communication, Transformative Works and Culture, The Journal of Fandom Studies and Mass Communication and Society. She has been quoted on NPR’s Throughline and The Deseret News.
