Lars Jonsson
Lars Jonsson, M.D. and Ph.D., born 1952, is an associate professor in anaesthesiology and intensive care at Uppsala University, Sweden. He worked as a clinical physician from 1978 to 1992, and hospital director from 1993 to 1998. In parallel, he was a clinical researcher in medicine during the years 1986–98 with more than 40 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He was the managing director of Uppsala University Holding Company (UUH) from 1998 to 2018 and has been involved in the formation of more than 90 start-up companies based upon the activities of Uppsala University. During the last years he has published several original papers in the field of university innovation support, technology transfer and academia-industry collaborations.
