Laura Cesaro

Laura Cesaro is currently completing her Ph.D. in history, criticism and conservation of cultural heritage in Padua (Italy). Her thesis is titled ‘The audiovisual image translates and re-reads the video-surveillance society’. She has participated in international art conventions such as the Paris VIII Les pratiques de l’artiste and Biennale de Venise 2017 with a work titled ‘The artists, the temps and the espace public’. She has published several articles on film and TV including ‘Seeing being seen: A look at Black Mirror’ (2017) and is currently working on an edited collection titled The Veil Gaze of the Ego: Faust by Anne Imhof (L’Harmattan, forthcoming 2020).
