Laura Frost
Laura Frost is a writer and scholar who specializes in twentieth century and contemporary culture. She is the author of The Problem with Pleasure: Modernism and its Discontents (Columbia University Press) and Sex Drives: Fantasies of Fascism in Literary Modernism (Cornell University Press) and many articles and book chapters about cultural responses to September 11, 2001. Her work on sex, art, gender, literature and film has appeared in Modernism/Modernity, the Los Angeles Times, The New Republic, Bookforum, The LA Review of Books, Quartz and elsewhere.
